However, AFAICR a user with the English language version needs if a user has the German language version, they may need to use 'ÜBER', 'LINKS', 'RECHTS' and 'UNTER' instead. Versions of the 'ABOVE', 'LEFT', 'RIGHT' and 'BELOW' keywords in Word formulae. Some language versions retained language-specific (As far as I know, in the 2016 version, there are no separate language versions). If you need to provide your template to Mac Word 2011 users, there may be a further issue related to the language version of Word.
My other suggestion is that if you change the regional settings (which I frequently do here when checking such things) you may also have to restart Word to get it to 'see' the change.
